The resurrected Christ is depicted within a luminous cloud, surrounded by Seraphim. He stands triumphant over the All-Holy Tomb. The Tomb of Christ is still sealed and, around it, there is a crowd of soldiers who are sleeping, except for the centurion Longinus who beholds in awe the Resurrection. Christ is nearly naked, wearing only a white cloth around his waist, and He is wrapped in a red cloak that blows in the wind. He blesses with His right hand while His left holds a flagpole flying a red banner with a cross atop it. The Resurrection of Christ is celebrated in the yearly feast of Holy Pascha.
